This forum is meant for general questions about the usability of OJS from an everyday user's perspective: journal managers, authors, and editors are welcome to post questions here, as are librarians and other support staff. We welcome general questions about the role of OJS and how the workflow works, as well as specific function- or user-related questions.

2. take a look at the tutorials. We will continue to add tutorials covering OJS basics as time goes on.

3. Post a question. Questions are always welcome here, but if it's a technical question you should probably post to the OJS Technical Support subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

Hi Alec,

For two of the articles that I uploaded to future issues, I have duplicate "PDF" and a "0"
Screenshot attached.

How do I get rid of it and make it right. What did I do wrong?

Sorry for all of the trouble

Hi Mel,

Is that the right document? I don't see anything involving a duplicate PDF or a 0.

Hi Mel,

On those submissions' Editing page (as Editor), what do you see under the "Layout" section for files uploaded as Galleys?

Hi Alec,

You are right. There are two files in layout.= (copy and past below)
1. PDF View Proof 11-331-1-PB.pdf 2014-04-15 ↑ ↓ Edit | Delete 18
2. PDF () View Proof 11-349-1-PB.pdf 2014-04-15 ↑ ↓ Edit | Delete 14

Hovering over "PDF" identifies them as different files. I saved them to desktop as work documents and find that they are identical (each has 58,235 characters)

If I delete 2. PDF () View Proof 11-349-1-PB.pdf 2014-04-15 ↑ ↓ Edit | Delete 14 will that remove the second "PDF" from the table of contents?
