What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved. Please note that this FAQ is OJS-centric, but most issues are applicable to both platforms.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OCS Conference Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OCS Development subforum.

How to include custom review forms in papers report

Postby afsseiler » Thu Feb 20, 2014 4:46 am

This may not be a new question, but I could not yet find any helpful answer.
I would like to include results from custom review forms in the paper report csv-file. Only the default review form is included as "comment on paper", but when I choose a customer form, there are no "comments" whatsoever.
I believe that there must be a simple way to solve this basic issue, but so far I have failed to find an answer. Please help and advice!
With great thanks, Andreas

Hi Andreas,

I think you mean the review report, not the paper report. In any case, the review form results are not included in the report, as you've noted; to include these you would need to change the implementation of plugins/reports/reviews/ReviewReportPlugin.inc.php along the lines of the code in TrackDirectorAction::emailDirectorDecisionComment, which flattens review form responses into a plain text field (for email in this case).

I've filed this as a feature request at http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=8569 but be warned that it's a low priority for us at the moment.
