What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum

why are there "0 emails" (I''m using OJS 2.4.3)?
The mailing list is formed by users who checked "Send me an email for these types of notifications" when "An issue has been published."?

The query that generates that count is:
"SELECT email FROM notification_mail_list WHERE context = .... "
Can you look in that database table and see how many email addresses are listed? This was new functionality introduced in 2.4.3. Perhaps something didn't go during the upgrade process.
