error in display archives on Fedora5 php 5.1.4 mysql 5.0.18

Hello


I have installed the harvester 2, on Linux / Fedora 5 with php 5.1.4 and mysql 5.0.18 .
installation is ok , I have harvesting three archives but only the first is displaying on the screen,
so on this page :
http://cyberdocs.univ-lyon2.fr/harveste ... php/browse

only lyon 2 archives is visible, not others ?? why ??

Hi Kim,

Is the third archive currently empty? The Harvester will not display it if it has no records.

i have the same problem, for showing archives list. actually i have 3 archives but only show 1 archives. i'm moving from fedora 5 to fedora 6

phpinfo :

OS platform Linux
PHP version 5.1.6
Apache version Apache/2.2.3 (Fedora) DAV/2 PHP/5.1.6 mod_python/3.2.8 Python/2.4.3 mod_ssl/2.2.3 OpenSSL/0.9.8b mod_perl/2.0.2 Perl/v5.8.8

do i need smarty patch ? if i need to install, where to get it ? i can't find it on pkp web sites

i get blank page after patching my harvester, i'm using command

patch -p0 -f < smartypatch, is it correct ?

and i'm thinking about getting latest harvester from cvs, but i don't know how to get it, can you show me how to get it ? i'm not familiar with cvs stuff

Hi Andre,

Did you get any error messages when applying the patch? Also, make sure that the web server has read priveleges on the patched files; the patch tool often changes file permissions. If you check your server log, you may find a PHP error message with more details on the problem. (Generally a blank page indicates that a PHP error has been sent to the log file.)

To get the CVS version, follow the instructions in docs/README-CVS; there are many free and/or open-source GUI tools available for CVS, including TortoiseCVS for Windows.
