urgent: where settings for sidebar blocks are stored?

Postby newbies » Mon Nov 11, 2013 1:00 pm

I tried to move the user login stuff from sidebar to a header bar, and was able to do that pretty easily. However, after that I wanted to remove the user information block from sidebar by going to Journal Setup Step 5 - navigation setup and deselecting the user information block, and then saving the change. All the sudden, I get blank pages. If I am not logged in, pages are still fine.

I could not find where the setting for the blocks are stored (I looked into the db, or files outside of db). I want to restore the user block by modifying the setting because I am unable to access the webpages.

edit: I seem to be able to find the setting in plugin_setting table, but don't know what the columns mean: setting_value setting_type

Also the error message I received is:
Code: Select all
[11-Nov-2013 12:23:04] PHP Fatal error:  Call to a member function getSessionVar() on a non-object in /home/journal/public_html/cache/t_compile/%%36^36E^36E89D0E%%header.tpl.php on line 223

Thank you.

I solved the problem by editing the plugin_setting table.

Thank you for reading.
