OJS - Removing title text from homepage?

Postby richl » Wed Nov 06, 2013 5:01 am

Hi there,

On our journal's homepage (http://www.jcer.net) I'd like to remove the title text 'Journal of Contemporary European Studies' which appears below the header. The journal title is already incorporated into the journal's header as an image and it looks a bit odd having the journal title repeated below this. Is there any way to hide/remove this text? I've looked within the 'Customising the Look' section and I can't seem to work out how to achieve this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Richard

Hi Richard,

I'd examine the source code for the page and find the correct <div or header element containing the text you want to remove. I'd then add a quick line to the CSS style sheet for the journal that applies a display: none; style to that element.

Regards,
Jason
