I'm wondering if it's possible to generate a report which shows numbers of downloads for the full issue galley. As far as I can see the reporting options for the Journal Manager will show the downloads of individual articles, but not of the entire issue galley that is also available?

Each report is implemented as a different plugin; none of the plugins that ship with OJS currently include issue galley download counts.

Has this issue been addressed in a later version of OJS (we're working with 18.104.22.168)? Or has someone figured out another way to measure views/downloads for Full Issue galleys? This is a nice feature, but it sure would be even nicer if we could track views/downloads for it (esp since we may well be losing stats for other articles that users won't bother to access individually when they can get the whole thing in one fell swoop).

Hi Markus and Emily,
If your OJS version is > 2.4.1, then you should be able to go to the statistics and reports page, and use the report generator (the last link of that page) to create a report that tells how many issue galleys downloads you had. Note that there is a report template that you can choose that gives that, you just have to select it, select the time range and submit the form.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
