We are interested in creating a forum area on our journal's website to allow communication between users. Has this been developed for OJS?

If not, could you recommend an external forum program that we could use to create a board that we could link to on our website?

Hi cindyc,

I'd suggest working with a flexible CMS like Drupal or Wordpress. There are a few threads on these forums from various users trying the same thing; see also http://www.openmedicine.ca/ for one example (Drupal in this case) of a fairly integrated suite of software including OJS.
