Adding CAPTCHA to lostPassword

Postby Promet » Wed Sep 11, 2013 3:42 am

Hello!

I was wondering if there is a way to add CAPTCHA to the lostPassword (reset password) page. One of our users is complaining about getting spammed by Password Reset Confirmation e-mails and our tech guys claim (after reviewing the server log) that a bot is responsible for the dirty deed.

I apologize if I posted in the wrong subforum! This seems more like a development issue, but I could be wrong.

Thanks!

Hi Promet,

I've filed this at http://pkp.sfu.ca/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=8421. I've never heard of this happening before and suspect an IP block would solve the problem in the meantime.
