What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum
. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page
or from our Google Custom Search
, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend
searching the forum for said error.
2. Check the FAQ
to see if your question or error has already been resolved.
3. Post a question
, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion
subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development
I just started to install OJS 2.4.2. When I enter on any browser: http://www.mydomain.org
I get the message “Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server.” This is the third time that I install OJS. In the first two installations, I did not find any problem along the way. I set all the permissions according to the instruction file.
In the instructions, there is mention about a patch, but I understand that version 2.4.2 is ready to be installed without any patch.
I would appreciate very much your help!

This isn't an OJS issue. Your web server must be configured to allow access to the directory that you've installed OJS into. What webserver are you using? Apache?
