Hi Xianghua,

The tables you're looking for are review_assignments (for assignments to reviewers along with their recommendations), section_editors (for assignments of section editors to sections), and users (to provide information about users, including section editors and reviewers).

Dear Mr. Alec Smecher,

Thank you for your prompt reply!

I am sorry for I am totally new and nearly a dummy about database, so sometimes please give me a little bit more detail explanations.

From phpMyAdmin, I can find "review_assignments", and found the reviewer_id, via it, I can found it from "users", but I want to get the full text about the referee's report, that is the detail comments about the paper, the recommendation is only a short sentence, not enough for me.

At the same time, for the section_editors, I can get nothing from it. For you know, in our journal, it is our Editors-in-Chief assign section_editor for each paper, that is not automatly, I don't know if this is the reason.

I use the following to fetch the informations,
cursor.execute("select * from section_editors")
datas = cursor.fetchall()
print datas

But it seems umpty.

Thank you very much!

Xianghua

Hi Xianghua,

No problem -- for individual editor assignments to papers, use edit_assignments; for review comments, see article_comments. The article_comments table contains all kinds of comments, not just reviews, so to get review you'll need to join with review_assignments on article_comments.role_id=4096 (the ROLE_ID_REVIEWER constant in PHP land) and article_comments.assoc_id = review_assignments.review_id.
