I am seeking a programmer available to help us develop a plug-in which would either build on the Beanstream plug-in already available in the below link or start from scratch. The idea would be a plug in that would link with the gateway provided by Sage or Beanstream. Our university already does business with Sage (see below link) so that would be ideal. Our IST has encouraged me to work with third party providers, and we can pay as appropriate for such a job. Our journal is hosted by a wonderful hosting service, Plenum Publishing Australia, but this is not a programming task they want to take on. We would expect the programmer to "test" the plug on on an existing installation and then we'd test it on ours. Then at our end via myself and our hosting serving, we would alter it to enter the proprietary information linking us to Sage or Beanstream.
I can reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
I’m editor of a journal that seeks to do credit card processing for www.reflectionsnarrativesofprofessionalhelping.org
This uses the PKP Open Journal Systems software, and the code is available on the download button here:http://pkp.sfu.ca/ojs_download
This uses PayPal, but there is a Plug-In for Beanstream, a Digital River Company.http://www.ece.ubc.ca/~derekp/webdevel/ocs-beanstream/
This is written by Derek Poon, of U British Columbia. I suspect it is easily modified for Open Journal Systems (which is nearly identical to Open Conference systems, for which this was written (the software for that is in the PKP site as well).
We’d be willing to pay you to develop a plug-in that works presuming that we can establish a relationship with you similar to the relationship our University already has with you to handle our payments for our University Advancement office:http://www.csuohio.edu/offices/advancement/give.html
Meanwhile, the same plug-in could be used for other journals who could then develop a relationship with your firm.
I would like to make it clear that I seek no proprietary information about the relationship between CSU’s Advancement office and your firm. Please consider this an inquiry from a new “customer” at CSU. I have been authorized to inquire about third party processors such as you, and it made sense to explore what third party providers we already used.
