Is it possible to send emails to all authors published in a journal? This is not necessarily those that have registered with the site. We used Quicksubmit plugin to add some past issues and would like to notify these authors via email that their article is now available online. Help? aesmith

There is no built in function to do this, but you can extract the information easily enough by looking at the authors table (article_authors in older releases of OJS). The first_name, middle_name, last_name, and email columns are relevant. (A tool like phpMyAdmin can help in navigating the database if you're not familiar with SQL.) Longer-term, it would be fairly easy to add an Author report plugin based on the existing plugins.
