What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum

or from our Google Custom Search
, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend
searching the forum for said error.
2. Check the FAQ
to see if your question or error has already been resolved.
3. Post a question

subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development
Version 2.2.0 is quite old (more than 5 years) and not all that stable compared to later 2.2.x or 2.3.x releases. You could try looking through our Bugzilla database for import/export bugs related to versions 2.2.1, 2.2.2, or 2.2.3, or 2.2.4, and try appyling those fixes to your install; alternately, you could upgrade that install to either OJS 2.2.4 (which was quite stable and the last in the 2.2.x line) or OJS 2.3.7 (which is the most recent 2.3.x release and possibly the last). These will probably have numerous refinements in the export code. An upgrade to 2.2.4 is likely to run smoothest as there are fewer back-end differences between 2.2.0 and 2.2.4 than 2.2.0 and 2.3.x or later.
