What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

Problem finding sentence in pdf files

Hi Everybody,

I tried to find the quote "High-speed records of the CFRP-surface" in the following journal.
https://bop.unibe.ch/ALT-Proceedings/ar ... iew/54/119

unfortunately without success. :-( I just get results when i'm searching for single words like for example "surface". :-(

Here a short description of my environment.

ojs version: ojs-2_3_8-0
os: Ubuntu 12.04 Server
pdf parser: pdftotext (xpdf - v3.02)
postscript parser: ps2ascii (GPL Ghostscript v9.05)

Code: Select all

min_word_length = 2
results_per_keyword = 500
result_cache_hours = 1
index[application/pdf] = "/usr/bin/pdftotext -enc UTF-8 -nopgbrk %s - | /usr/bin/tr '[:cntrl:]' ' '"
index[application/postscript] = "/usr/bin/ps2ascii %s | /usr/bin/tr '[:cntrl:]' ' '"
index[application/msword] = "/usr/bin/antiword %s"

thank you in advance for any help!
