Forum rules
This forum is meant for general questions about the usability of OJS from an everyday user's perspective: journal managers, authors, and editors are welcome to post questions here, as are librarians and other support staff. We welcome general questions about the role of OJS and how the workflow works, as well as specific function- or user-related questions.

What to do if you have general, workflow or usability questions about OJS:

1. Read the documentation. We've written documentation to cover from OJS basics to system administration and code development, and we encourage you to read it.

2. take a look at the tutorials. We will continue to add tutorials covering OJS basics as time goes on.

3. Post a question. Questions are always welcome here, but if it's a technical question you should probably post to the OJS Technical Support subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

Html file in galley

Postby billakosbs » Sun Mar 10, 2013 7:48 am

Hello to all,

Iam using import/export xml plugin to upload some articles in ojs journal. Inside the xml i have the pdf file as you see below.
<galley locale="en_US">
<file><href src="http://localhost/journal/files/journals/1/issues/Volume2/january/Issue(January).pdf" target="_blank" /></file>
I need to add one more galley or something else in order to link an html file in each article. This html file is the output of the flipping book publisher of each article pdf. I want to use it as it is directly on the journal.
So iam trying to add something like that.
<galley locale="en_US">
<href mime_type="text/html" src="http://localhost/journal/files/Publications/Volume 2, Issue 1, January 2009/index.html" target="_blank" />
This in not correct because this link "http://localhost/journal/files/Publications/Volume 2, Issue 1, January 2009/index.html' transformed to this "http://localhost/journal/index.php/hppj/article/view/188/266" and i cannot see the digital publication. I want to keep the link as is.

How could i do it?

My second question has to do it with the Unassigned articles and how could i delete them all together?

Thanks in advance
