What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum
. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page
or from our Google Custom Search
, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend
searching the forum for said error.
2. Check the FAQ
to see if your question or error has already been resolved.
3. Post a question
, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion
subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development
Hi there. After upgrading to the latest version, I still have some lingering issues: 1) Turkish characters are not shown properly on the web pages. Someone that has Turkish characters in his name in the Editorial Board, is not displayed at all, until we get rid of the Turkish character in his name.
Btw, is there a way to support DOI prefixes of 7 digits? The old version used to reject it, so does the new version apparently..
Thanks for any feedback..

I'll give your character issue a bit more thought but in the meantime I've committed a fix that adds support for 7 digit DOI IDs. If you're using OJS 2.3 you can make the following small change:https://github.com/pkp/ojs/commit/77eae ... 424494bbfe
