Hi Daryl,

You should be able to use the following Smarty snippet to get the DOI for OJS 2.3.x:
Code: Select all
{$article->getDOI(true)|escape}

HI Alec,

Thanks for the Response, I don't Understand what do you mean, cause I am asking how to code, to view the P-ISSN and E-ISSN into Table of Contents and articles page, in their footer side..

{$article->getDOI(true)|escape} - this code i think, if you want to view the DOI in your page, ryt?

Thanks,
DArryl

Hi Darryl,

Sorry -- somehow I misread ISSN as DOI. To get the ISSN:
Code: Select all
{$currentJournal->getSetting('onlineIssn')|escape}
...or...
Code: Select all
{$currentJournal->getSetting('printIssn')|escape}

Hi Darryl,

For the Table of Contents, try templates/issue/issue.tpl; for the article view page, templates/article/article.tpl.

Hi Alec,

Yeah, I get it for the article.tpl file. I see the result, I put the code to the article/footer.tpl file. but in the table of contents, the result it's not viewed correctly.

Hi Darryl,

That'll likely be a problem with where in the template you put the snippet of code and how the resulting output is styled. I'm not sure what you have in mind, or where you put the code, but if you can provide a screenshot that indicates where you want the ISSN to appear, I might be able to suggest something.

Hi Darryl,

Have you tried putting the code snippet at the very end of templates/issue/issue.tpl?

Hi Darryl,

It's a little tougher to debug without being able to see it myself, but I'll see what I can do. You've modified the template file, but you see no change, correct? If so, could you double-check that the web server has permission to administer all the files in templates/t_compile?

Hi cristianviza,

I suspect what you want is a journal redirect. See:
User Home > Site Administrator > Site Settings > Journal redirect

This will cause the homepage (which in a multi-journal site typically lists all the journals) to redirect to the single journal you choose.
