Forum rules
This forum is meant for general questions about the usability of OJS from an everyday user's perspective: journal managers, authors, and editors are welcome to post questions here, as are librarians and other support staff. We welcome general questions about the role of OJS and how the workflow works, as well as specific function- or user-related questions.

What to do if you have general, workflow or usability questions about OJS:

1. Read the documentation. We've written documentation to cover from OJS basics to system administration and code development, and we encourage you to read it.

2. take a look at the tutorials. We will continue to add tutorials covering OJS basics as time goes on.

3. Post a question. Questions are always welcome here, but if it's a technical question you should probably post to the OJS Technical Support subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

Hello chayton,

"Grouping" of articles in OJS is done through "Sections".
As Journal Manger, you will have access to a link called Sections in the administration main page.
Other ways to "relate" content is through the use of the metadata fields, such as subject, keywords and the other available OAI - Dublin Core fields.

Thanks for your reply, I have another question, I wonder if it's possible to open the html version of the article when the user click on it.
example:

title.....
abstract.....
body.....
reference.....

thanks again

Hello chayton,

Take a look at OJS documetation, especially the Userguide.
OJS does NOT automatically produce the articles for publication. You'll need to do it with a separate software, for the specific formats you want to use. This is the reason this feature is not implemented in OJS, as there are many possible formats and lots of software available to do so.

You'll basically convert the submission to HTML and publish it as a Galley file, in the Layout section of the submission Editing stage.
