Hi,
The prepared e-mail template for the submission acknowledgment e-mail is set up so that the subject line begins with the journal's initials inside of the brackets. To my knowledge there is no way to change this. The remainder of the subject line is able to be edited in the prepared e-mails section of the journal management pages.
The sender field is populated with the journal's principal contact as it is entered in Step 1 of the Setup in the Journal Management pages. So, any change to what is entered as the principal contact will also change who is listed as the "sender" of the submission acknowledgment.
