Hello,
I setup a OJS2.3.7. I use the OJS to send email, but it don't receive anything.
I have set the config.inc.php
; Use SMTP for sending mail instead of mail()
smtp = On
; SMTP server settings
smtp_server = "ssl://smtp.gmail.com"
smtp_port = 465
; Enable SMTP authentication
smtp_auth = PLAIN
smtp_username = "user@gmail.com"
smtp_password = "password"
I would like to ask that are there somewhere setting wrong????

Do you mind sharing what is the problem? It might be beneficial.
Anyway, I have a problem with email too. Everything works very well, except for the email.
My ISP has the smtp server and port that I can use for email purposes.
My question is, do I need to install anything like postfix to use the SMTP function? Or just setup the server, port authentication etc, then it should work?
I am installing OJS on Ubuntu 11.04, OJS 2.3.7.
Hope someone can help me with this.
