Hi,
We just upgraded to 2.3.7, and encountered some "problems"…
The first, that is just trivial, when I ask to check if there is new version, OJS says that it exists a new version 3.4.0… but this is still in development, isn't it ?
Then, a more complex problem, we added a fr_FR locale, that is based on fr_CA locale, because french users have not exactly the same language as french-canadians users, well, this is good. But since the upgrade, when an author put a submission on OJS, the editor receive 2 e-mails, one that is normal, and another one that is empty!
I suppose this is a locale problem, but we don't know how to fix it without trashing personnal templates, and to load non-existing email templates in the database.
Does it exist a script ?
What can we do?

OJS 2.4.0 is a development release. the 2.3.x line of OJS is our current 'stable' release branch, and I would recommend staying with that unless there are features in the 2.4.0 line that you need. Bear in mind that there are already patches and bugs fixed in 2.4.0.
As for your second issue, how did you perform your locale creation? Did you create the email templates and load them into your database?
