We re-launched our journal with a new name and are now managing it on our own website. We have imported archive articles from the previous site. They have a DOI (prefix/suffix) set by the previous publisher - which must stay the same. How to I change the DOI of these articles on our site - whilst assigning the new articles with our new prefix/suffix?

Hi pippasmart,
I didn't understand if you still have the ownership of the old prefix.
If so, you have to configure this prefix in OJS (setup, step 1).
After that, you have to try to configure the DOI suffix pattern to be similar to the old one. If you can do this, you only have to push on the re-assign DOIs and then export the XML file and send this file to CrossRef for updating the URLs.
If you can not make new DOIs similar to old ones with the pattern, you shoud use the DOIs with custom identifiers, then update the identifiers con the old DOIs suffixes; and then register the updated DOIs.
