I feel dumb as a new administrator, and I'm sure I'm asking something obvious. Anyway, poking around, I am just unable to get my conference to accept new submissions!
I have set the conference timeline so that both "Call for Papers posted" and "Submissions accepted" are in the past, and "Submissions closed" is in the future. In "Submission Process", we selected Abstract+proposal (fourth option), entered some basic data for the submission types and the checklist. We are running a "director review" conference.
Anyway - This should (according to my logic) be enough. However, if (from (...)/author) I select "Start here to submit a paper to this conference" → "Step one of the submission process", I get the message "This conference is not accepting submissions" (in (...)/author/submit)
So, any pointers on what am I doing wrong?
