Some of our reviewers email us about when they are next available or how many reviews they can do per year - that sort of thing. Is there any way of storing this information in the system? And, ideally, being able to see this info when you allocate reviewers?

Hello caroline,
There is not such feature in OJS, as there is no "limit" as to how many reviews can be performed by a person.
Since the editor needs to choose the best suited reviewer, and there are limited possibilities (especially in specialty disciplines), OJS can't limit the amount of reviews a reviewer can perform in a given period. That's too much for the system to control.
Instead, the system is thought in a way the the reviewer is "invited" to perform a review and decline the task if unable to perform it in time, for any reason whatsoever.
OJS has a report on the reviewers of a specific issue, as well as displays on the reviewer's page how many reviews have been performed, if memory serves...

Hi Caroline,
There is the "Private Notes" field that Editors can fill in when creating reviewers.
