Hi all,
For those of you experiencing problems with users who can't see embedded PDFs (due to plugin/OS issues), I've written two plugins that use external services to render your PDFs and display them in a way that is much more friendly to a wide variety of browsers. One uses Google Docs Viewer and the other uses a similar service provided by Zoho.
These plugins can be installed through the journal manager's plugin installation form. But before they can be used, you must apply the attached patch (download the patch, and from the root of your OJS directory run patch -p1 < /path/to/the/pdfPlugin.patch).
