Export OCS data to create name badges of attendees

Postby mstreet » Fri Mar 14, 2008 1:38 pm

Is there a way to do this in OCS? I can see that there is the ability to export the papers, but nothing for the users.

Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

Hi mstreet,

There isn't an automatic way to do this, but it would be a useful candidate for a plugin. If you have the expertise to develop such a thing, go for it!

Cheers,

Hi mstreet,

The best way to extract this data is currently using a tool like phpMyAdmin. If you can provide some information on the type of report you want to extract, I can suggest some SQL.

Hello all,

I recently uploaded a Mailing List Plugin that exports as CSV a few extra columns of information that could be used for name tags.
It brings a lot of the default info from the registered users report (from the Director level), but also groups in different columns full name, institution and address (which you would remove for name tags).

Check to see if it helps you.

You can also modify the plugin to fit your needs.
