Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OCS:1.
Search the forum. You can do this from the
Advanced Search Page or from our
Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we
especially recommend searching the forum for said error.
2.
Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved. Please note that this FAQ is OJS-centric, but most issues are applicable to both platforms.
3.
Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the
OCS Conference Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the
OCS Development subforum.

Hello,
We have enabled TinyMCE in plugins and still when we wish to edit or send any email, we can only see the plain text box. There is no TinyMCE toolbar appearing. Thus, we are not able to use functions such as bold, italics and so forth. How can we get this working. We already have the latest version of OCS on the conference website.

Hi John,
Unfortunately, the email fields are not currently TinyMCE-enabled. You could always hand-write the HTML code for bolding/italicizing things, etc.; you could even add this formatting directly to the Prepared Email templates.
Cheers,
James

Hi James,
I'm trying to add html codes to the emails that are sent by Journal's website, but the codes are shown in text format and are not rendered as html.
I tried different codes but none are shown correctly.
How can I indicate that the sent email is in html format?
Best,
