Change the look of the "People" section in "About the Journa

Hi again,

We also need to change the "People" section in "About the Journal". Our journal has some specific needs in regard to contacts. Therefore we'd like to arrange the contacts like Canadian Journal of Communication (http://www.cjc-online.ca/index.php/jour ... t/contact#) has done it. But how do we do that?

Hi Claus,

You can achieve this by either (a) entering the additional information that you need displayed into the Mailing Address field in Setup => Step 1 (Details) or by (b) directly modifying the contact template: templates/about/contact.tpl

Please note that if you go with route (b), you'll need to apply your changes to the template each time you upgrade OJS. This can be done by saving a patch that contains the diff of the modified file relative to the stock version that ships with OJS.

Hi Claus,

A third approach would be to create a static page using the Static Pages plugin and modify the main About page (templates/about/index.tpl) and change the Contact link to point to this new static page.

As with (b) you'll need to apply your changes to the modified template each time you upgrade OJS.
