error_log: warnings and 404s

error_log: warnings and 404s

Hello,

I'm minding an installation of OCS for a friend while on vacation. I'm not familiar with this package.

We have been getting warnings and 404s and I'm not sure where to begin.
Any help would be appreciated, and no, I will not waste your time.

The errors seem to be mostly with the following:

    FileCache.inc.php
    NotificationManager.inc.php
    UserExportDom.inc.php
    PKPPageRouter.inc.php

AcronPlugin errors

OK, clearing the caches and turning on AcronPlugin has eliminated most of the errors, at least so far, except for the AcronPlugin errors.

What I don't understand about the errors is that the settings file (fc-pluginSettings-0-0-AcronPlugin.php) exists and has the correct permissions (755 for the cache folder, 644 for the file).

Any suggestions?

Hi Salvatore,

This is most likely actually a problem with the permissions settings for your cache directories -- see viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2479 and viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2129. You may also want to see this FAQ entry regarding file permissions issues. Let us know if you're still running into problems after looking at the threads/FAQ entry.

(NB -- don't forget to apply any permissions/ownership changes recursively to all files and directories in the cache/ dir.)
