I've read the thread (
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4079) about moving a journal from one installation to another with existing journals, and think it is both beyond my technical competence and too time-consuming for me, and wonder whether anyone would undertake this for me on a paid basis.
I have two OJS installations on two different servers, and I wish to combine them. The one that I wish to be the complete installation is up-to-date (2.2.3.0) and the other, to be moved (old), is less so (2.1.1.0). There is only one journal on the old server, and four on the main server, although two of these are special "issues". One of these special "issues" is using the same journal id (1) as the journal on the old server. It would be possible to archive (in the non-OJS meaning) this journal to avoid journal id conflicts, if that would help. Of course, the article ids would still need sorting.
