Installation Problem

I am trying to install Lemon, however, I can not find install.php in the package downloaded from the website.
Where can I find it?

Hello,
After a clean installation of Lemon8XML, I logged in the system and it was OK.
Next time, I changed my password and then it was not possible to log in by none of old and new password. I also came back to installation process and created new users but none of them works. Please help.

Hi Omid,

We don't actively develop or support Lemon8 anymore, and it's been a fairly long time since any of us have used it. You may have better luck reinstalling, or by changing the password manually in the database (note that if you do this you will have to hash the password according to your security configuration).

Hey Omid,

In addition to James' advice, it would be very helpful if you could provide any error messages that might be appearing in a log on your server. Your web server software or PHP may possibly be logging information about a misconfiguration or perhaps a missing PHP module. If memory serves, Lemon8 is fairly cutting edge with what it needs in order to run correctly.

Unfortunately, even re-installation didn't work. Thus I checked the error logs and I found these:

I am not sure if these can help to find the problem.

Hi obeiki,

It's normal to see most of those errors -- they belong to files that are not part of Lemon8-XML. However, this one:

[Sat Jul 23 00:23:54 2011] [error] [client 194.225.53.5] File does not exist: /home/jivresea/public_html/lemon8, referer: http://www.jivresearch.org/lemon/install.php

suggests a path problem in a config file. From the install.php URL, your path in the config file should be 'lemon', not 'lemon8'. Can you post a version of your config file? Please remove all passwords from it first.
