Hi,
we added OAI-PMH to our publications-Server.
For test we want to harvest with pkp. There are no Problems by harvesting other repositories.
My Question:
For the pkp-harvester...is it important to write the metadata in correct order into the XML-File?
<dc:title>............
<dc:author>.......
instead of:
<dc:author>.......
<dc:title>............

Harvesting problems

Hi Gerold,
As long as the metadata validates against the Dublin Core/OAI DTD, the Harvester should be able to use it. The harvester is designed to work with the OAI harvesting protocol, not flat-files, however -- is this the problem?
