However the two links in my comment are not active. I attempted tomake them function by using html but that failed and I asked the admin
to remove that posting. Would you consider making such links
automatically functional please? Allowing coding in HTML would do
too.

made active. So the mechanism for doing that is already available.

Thank you for your suggestion! I agree that OJS' comments interface is in need of an overhaul. We're going to be holding off on doing anything incremental just yet, but we do plan on some larger improvements in the future, possibly even by integrating a third-party comment system, which would include options like posting HTML links.
