A couple of question on scheduling and selective publication

Working with OCS, having different conference scenarios in mind, I have the following questions:

1) Is it possible to have papers submitted by the authors after the conference start date and even months past it?

It is useful and accommodating to certain occasions to have the authors submit their paper's abstract ahead of time, but have them submit their papers AFTER the conference (weeks or months even).
Right now it is not possible to set the submission close date after the start of the conference (unless I set the "override error message(s)", which I don't know if it will complicate things or set other limitations....if that's all that's needed, then I guess it's ok)


2) Is it possible to select for each author separately whether or not to have both the abstract and the paper published?

Some people may not view favorably the publication of their paper online (not discussing the view itself) for various reasons, so for those cases it would be useful to be able to select separately, individually for each submission whether or not to publish it online, after all other tasks have been completed (like reviewing, correcting etc).
Can this be done at the moment?

Regarding question 1: see viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2675&start=0#p9618 for the current rules governing submission access.

Regarding question 2: yes, if you are using the "abstract followed by review" method, you can basically choose not to publish the paper, or the author can choose not to upload one if they don't wish to.
