Closing the ability to change abstracts

Postby jburpee » Tue Feb 15, 2011 12:04 pm

The deadline for making revisions to our conference's accepted abstracts has now passed. Are we able to close that off so that accepted speakers can't continue to go into OCS and make further revisions.

Hi Jane,

See viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2675&start=0 -- you'll find a breakdown on how OCS manages editorial access to submission metadata (including abstracts, etc.). Accepted abstracts shouldn't be editable after the submission deadline, unless the author is also a director within the system. Is this not the case for you? Which version of OCS are you using?
