Determining (re)submission dates

I'd like to construct a history for each paper that includes, for each round, the date submitted and the date the author was notified of the decision. For rounds after the first, what is the best way to get this information?

With OJS 2.1, first of all in Setup 2.7, the Logging and Auditing functions should be turned on, as this will keep a record in each submission's History with a log of all actions adn emails on a submission. In addition, the Author's Revised Version is dated, as are all comments sent to the author.
