Most of the larger publishing platforms (e.g. Oxford, Sage, Wiley) these days support outbound links on article references, enabling the user to discover whether they have access to the article via an institutional subscription. Are there any plans for OJS to provide similiar support; and if not, can it be considered?

Hi bhoughton,
While this is already technically available in OJS (Editors can manually add outbound links in their article galleys, whether HTML, PDF or what have you), we also now automatically include outbound links to Google Scholar for references generated by the Citation Markup Assistant. For more information on the Citation Markup Assistant, see the second bullet point in this list.
