hi
i have installed the PKP Harvetser in Fedora 4.After the installation, when i tried to admistrate the harverster using admin.php it shows the following error
"Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_ABSTRACT, expecting ']' in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/harvester/include/harvester.inc.php on line 255"
As in Fedora 4 the php version is
PHP 5.0.4 (cli) (built: May 9 2005 11:21:11)

is it the problem with the php version i used or not

Hi Thomas,
The current release of the Harvester does not run on PHP 5.x; however, we're preparing for the release of a ground-up rewrite on the OJS 2.x codebase. Stay tuned for a beta test in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you'll need to downgrade to PHP 4.x to run the Harvester.
