We haven't ported this one over ourselves, I don't think. We may do so in the future, priorities depending; you can always give it a shot yourself, and we're more than happy to help with any questions you might have.
I installed the Backup plugin in OJS /plugins/generic, I can enable it in the Plugins management page, but can't find anything related to this plugin in the Site Administration. Do I need to set any special file/directory permissions for the backup plugin to work?
Note that the backup plugin has been added to our source code repository and will be released as part of OJS 2.4.2 (and OCS probably at the 3.0 release). If you want to use it before then, I recommend getting it from our git repository -- here for OJS and here for OCS.
Regards, Alec Smecher Public Knowledge Project Team
I'm happy to report that the Backup Plugin translation has been completed.

Hello all, This is a great plugin. How about a Backup & Restore plugin? I was wondering if the programmers can tweak and make this work. This will be wonderful where there is a lot of customization done in the OXS. Once this Backup is done, one will only have to install the latest version of OXS and then click the restore button. Is this the right place to put suggestions? Will re-post this if someone points out the suggestion thread. Best wishes, -- Eddy
