How to include last cover in OJS journals home page

Postby rodrigotorrens » Fri Aug 06, 2010 3:04 pm

Which changes could be applied to templates of the main page of OJS (V.> 2.2.4) to achieve that the covers of the last numbers appears next to each magazine?

I checked the respective templates:
Code: Select all

but there are only mentioned variables that have to do with images of the logo of the magazine, and is extremely inefficient to have to change these logos every time you insert a new number.

Code: Select all

... There are variables that call the path and file name of the magazine covers, but when I try to use them within the main loop:
Code: Select all
(Iterate from = journals item = journal)

... In templates/index/site.tpl, the values of these variables are not available.

Any ideas?

Hi Rodrigo,

Have you uploaded a cover image for that issue? If you have done this, and you have checked off that the ToC should be displayed on the journal's home page, then the image should display.
