What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:
1. Search the forum

I have deleted a user, it does not appears in the list of users.
But now the user want to create an account again, and the system say that:
"The selected username is already in use by another user."
Was it wrong?

There is no way to actually delete a user in OJS 2, as that would potentially involve destroying important records; however, when you "remove" a user from the journal, all roles in that journal are revoked.
If you want to re-enroll the user in a journal, choose a role as Journal Manager and click "Enroll Existing User" at the bottom of the page.
The next release of OJS will include a feature that will allow Journal Managers to merge accounts, which can be effectively used to delete accounts without destroying any records associated with them.
