Hi,
On the very front page of OJS the journal in the system are listed. The link-text 'Registration' is included under the name of the journal.
I have tested this to see whether a user can in fact register in this way. They can't. Their name goes into the database but it does not show up on the list of users for the journal.
So, if a user registers by this route is it meant to go into a holding place somewhere for the Journal Manager to process? If so, where is that? If not, why does that link appear on the very front of the site and how can I get rid of it?
Thanks
Alistair

Hi Alistair,
Check in Journal Setup, Step 2; you can choose which roles users can self-register for. If a user doesn't select any of those roles, they're registered with OJS but not with a particular journal -- as Journal Manager you can add roles to their user account by choosing the role under Journal Management and using the "Enroll Existing User" link at the bottom of the page.

Hi Alistair,
You can get into setup by logging in as Journal Manager, clicking on "User Home", clicking on "Journal Manager", and going into "Setup".
