Glad to hear the upgrade went well --
To use the "expedite" function, you'll need to log in as a user who is enrolled as both Editor (or Section Editor) and Author. Follow the regular author submission process, and when you finish the last step, you'll see a link to jump the submission directly into the scheduling queue.
