Hi All,
I have a harvester running at: http://researchscope.net/
[ for a 4 minute screencast about our harvester see: http://repository.wit.ie/1406/1/ResearchScope.html ]
It works brilliantly, thanks to your great software and to the magic of open standards.
I have a problem with one of the archives though.
The following OAI url is rejected as being invalid....
http://epubs.rcsi.ie/cgi/oai2.cgi
Can anyone tell me why this might be?
The repository in question runs on Bepress.

Hi David,
Glad to hear you're finding it useful!
Try using the "throttling_delay" option in config.inc.php; that OAI source appears to respond with an error message if requests are made too rapidly in succession from the same source.

Hi Alec,
That seems to have to have done the trick!
I have got a harvest of 88 records from that repository, which is in line with what I would expect from them. Will have to double check with the systems librarian in RCSI in the morning.
