3. Post a question. Questions are always welcome here, but if it's a technical question you should probably post to the OCS Technical Support subforum; if you have a development question, try the OCS Development subforum.

Cannot download files unless registered and logged in

We've uploaded an accomodation booking form under Home > [conference] > User > Conference Site Management > Accommodation and we can see it in Home > Conference Site Management > Files Browser.

However, users are forced to log in (and register if not already registered) in order to download the file. Is this a design feature, a bug, or are we doing something wrong :)

Hi John,

That shouldn't be happening, unless you have set your site access to require registration/login for any page (under Website Management Step 2.5). Check that, and get back to me if that's not the case.

So, I go to Home > [conference] > User > Conference Site Management > Website Management then under 2.5 Access to Conference Presentations we have checked Provide open access to all visitors to the website - is that the one?

On the live site, we have implemented a workround by hosting the file on another site, and providing a link to the other site. However, it would be better if we could get it to work from within OCS!
