Re: point 1: OCS is currently the most robust documentation we have on OCS, although we are in the process of writing a new, more extensive userguide (also for OJS), to be published this summer. I would recommend checking out the rest of the documentation on our wiki (http://pkp.sfu.ca/wiki
) and on the OCS documentation page (http://pkp.sfu.ca/ocs_documentation
), as well as our more general tutorials on both OJS and OCS (http://pkp.sfu.ca/tutorials
). If you have any general topics you would like covered, please let us know; we may be able to point you in a certain direction, and we'd also be better able to address any gaps in our documentation in the future.
Re: point 2: You can take OCS out for a test drive on our server to become more familiar with how it operates: http://pkp.sfu.ca/ocs2/demo/testdrive/
The login is "admin" and the password is "testdrive". This installation will be regularly purged of all data, so please do not use it for anything other than making a short-term evaluation of the software.
