Forum rules
What to do if you have a technical problem with OJS:

1. Search the forum. You can do this from the Advanced Search Page or from our Google Custom Search, which will search the entire PKP site. If you are encountering an error, we especially recommend searching the forum for said error.

2. Check the FAQ to see if your question or error has already been resolved.

3. Post a question, but please, only after trying the above two solutions. If it's a workflow or usability question you should probably post to the OJS Editorial Support and Discussion subforum; if you have a development question, try the OJS Development subforum.

This ought to be easy but I'm not seeing it and I feel like a ninny ... we'd like to add some content or fields to the journal homepage. Where is this accomplished?

Thanks! soj

Hi Soj,

One thing you'll probably want to do is enable the "Journal redirect" feature, so that requests to e.g. http://www.myjournal.com/ojs2 will redirect to your journal if your OJS installation is only hosting one. Do this in Site Administration (http://www.myjournal.com/ojs2/index.php/index/admin/settings).

To add content to the journal home page, log in as a Journal Manager and go to Journal Setup, step 5. Enter the content into the "Journal Description" and "Additional Content" fields.

Oh man! I was thinking to much in a linear fashion: homepage = step 1. THANKS! Bet you wish all the questions were this easy, eh?
