dear sir,

we are using ojs in our journal get online published. our base url is http://ojs.iucaa.ernet.in/index.php/oai/

when i add this harvester it gives error. not adding archive. what to do?

Hi nageshdbt,

The OAI URL you should be using is http://ojs.iucaa.ernet.in/index.php/index/oai.

following this url also it gives error. what to do/

Hi nageswaran,

That archive harvests fine for me; if you're talking about the "illegal verb" message when you follow the URL directly, that's behaving as it should (the OAI URL isn't supposed to be viewed directly by a web browser). Are you sure you entered the OAI URL above into the "OAI Base URL" field, not the "URL" field, on the "Edit Archive" form?

I entered OAI url into OAI base url only not url. system is wrong url. what to do?

Hi nagesh,

Try changing the state of the allow_url_fopen setting in config.inc.php. If that doesn't work, are you willing to PM me temporary access to the Harvester installation to test?

Hi nageswaran,

There are two search index plugins in Harvester 2.3: the MySQL search index plugin, and the Lucene/SOLR/ZendSearch plugin. I'd suggest enabling the MySQL search index plugin from the System Plugins page. You'll need to re-harvest your archives once this is done.
