Hello,
Is there any way to remove the "Ensuring a Blind Review" link that appears on several pages during the article submission process. One of our journals does NOT use a blind review process, so having this link makes things confusing for the submitting author. Is this something we have to change in the template. We run several journals off of one OJS installation but don't necessarily want to make this change fore all of our journals--Is this something we can configure on a journal by journal basis?
Thanks!
Brian

Hi Brian,
Yes, it is -- see Journal Setup Step 2.2, at the very bottom.
Cheers,
James

Thanks James. I see this is in OJS version 2.2. but we are still using 2.1.1.
We will upgrade eventually but maybe not for a while. Do you think there is an easy hack for this in 2.1?

Hi Brian,
Hack-wise, you could always open the template files where this is an issue and remove the particular line of code. All template files are in the templates/ dir -- and there's plenty of info on the forums on editing them.
Cheers,
James

I would like to remove the "Ensuring a blind review" link from the submission checklist (6th item in the list). I tried to uncheck the corresponding checkbox at the bottom in the Journal Setup step 2.2. But nothing happens. The link still remains active. How can I remove it?
